Medicine raising 2025
Since 2000, every year in February, thousands of Banco Farmaceutico volunteers have been patrolling the pharmacies that have joined the initiative, inviting citizens to donate one or more drugs for local welfare and charitable organizations.
Each organization is connected to one or more pharmacies in its province; the pharmacist, based on the indications from the charitable associations, directs the customer, suggesting the categories of drugs that are most and most needed. The drug collection days are a clear example of how solidarity can unite with an effective organization that is well-rooted in the area. The collaboration between institutions, private entities and citizens has shown that, although there are many difficulties, a community that is committed to those most in need is a stronger and more cohesive community.
